This is another sketch of my original character AndreAla Rae (Gee THAT name looks familiar...) and her guardian, Baldur. He's a raven but he has three forms - Bird, Dragonic(aka, dragon-like), and human and this is the Dragonic one.

I won't bore anyone with details about them, i'll save that for another day when i have time.

Also when i get time i'd like to go back in and color this. Likely to be scrapped in a few days or at least taken back into PS for some more cleaning up.


+ I used a brush for the border but i can't find out who i got it from. It's just one i have floating around on my computer without a name but if you recognize whose it is please let me know! =)

Border--don't know it, but it suits this piece beautifully. Will there be something in front of her--there seems a lot of white space there now (okay, dumb question--you usually draw gorgeous starlight scenes). The girl of course, is very pretty. Curious about that guardian. Particualrly able to have a human form.

Once i can get back to this pic I'm sure i'll put something in the BG, giant white spaces tend to scare me...too...much...white! XP

I haven't actually hammered out all the details behind these characters (in all honesty AndreAla Rae has changed so much through the years it isn't even funny - once she was a super skinny, short haired blond with a temper that bordered on bitchy to a quiet thoughtful brunette that actually has some curves. Funny how our standards and likes change over a period of 10 years)
Since the storyline is set in a 'fantasy' setting it isn't quite as strange that Baldur can have other forms. He's only able to have them because he was killed and had the ability bestowed upon him in the spirit realm. ^^;

My thoughts are scattered on this subject at the moment - it's late and my mind refuses to work - but i plan to try and write up a small bit about these two when i post other works.
